Response Grizzly Man
Many will think that Treadwell in Grizzly Man are insane, but I think his views on the wild life and beliefs are something to value. He loved nature and appreciated it’s beauty and risked his life to protect it. Risking your own life for something you love is passionate and very unselfish. He cared more about the wildlife than himself and I think in a selfish world, that is very unique. Becoming one with nature and the bears made Treadwell happy, and happiness cost him his life. Even when he was being attacked the grizzly bear, he did not fight back. He loved the bears too much to be able to hurt it back. He had strong dedication on achieving a friendship with a dangerous creature.
Even though his admiration's were admirable, they were a bit unrealistic. He was living with dangerous, wild animals, whose goals were survival. I know if I wanted to be one with nature and live with bears, I would bring a form of protection for myself. I would say personally I wouldn't be able to risk my own life for something I'm passionate and put that much trust into a dangerous creature. He is very brave for doing so, but I think survival is more important.
