Since he was young art had always played an important role in his life. He enjoyed all different types of media including photography. He kept with him many different vintage cameras, he loved to explore new ways to capture how he saw the world. When thinking about a piece of media for this blog post I came across this picture shown above. It is ideal to me because it is different, it captures the light in such a unique way that most photographs don't show. Obviously I also see this photo as ideal because it come from such an important person from my life.
Hannah, reading your post and seeing your choice of art just warmed my heart. It is so inspiring to hear the amazing impact your bother and his art left on you. If anyone could talk about having a connection to the art they chose it would be you. I love this painting and the creativeness your brother used. ReplyDeleteHannah, this is such a unique photo. I believe that one of the greatest aspects of art is its ability to capture what the mind cannot imagine entirely. There is no pattern to the path of each beam and no beam is the same. To me, this signifies the different roads we are all on and how we will tackle our own challenges. Your brother seemed to be an amazing artist and I hope that you continue to share his work as it helps to inspire so many in a similar way that I see it has inspired you!
ReplyDeleteI think this photograph is beautiful and gives off energy. I love the meaning it has to you and the emotion it gives off. The rays of light gives off a felling of energy and life that it beautiful. The pattern that are in the rays of light and the directions are so unique. It makes you feel like you are there where the picture is taken.
