The most interesting aspect of my topic is the theories. There are all these different theories and most of them seem valid. The theories don't all work together, yet somehow, when looking at only one at a time, each seems to make perfect sense. It makes me curious if other people are them that way too, or if they believe one perspective is more "right" than another. My hope is that those who read my paper will take a different look at the world around them. They should also think more about their own actions, if they're ethical or not, as well as if things aren't as simple as being "right" or "wrong". Maybe their actions are neither.
I am still so impressed with the topic you chose to study. I'm sure that our class has helped you some with learning about morals and some of the philosophers who focused on the topic, but it is still such an abstract and different subject I imagine was a challenge to find good research on. I also love that you have a goal for your paper and the influence it will have on its readers. Which source you used was most beneficial for your research, articles or books?
ReplyDeleteYou've done an excellent job putting your whole self into this paper and I look forward to seeing how you write about it in research format. Good luck with the rest of your work!
